本次2021年广一模英语科试题与八省联考相比,整体难度略高。虽全卷话题皆为考生较为熟悉的选材,但难点会出现在各题型的阅读细节中,需要考生细心挖掘线索并联动文化背景知识解题。看似眼熟,却暗藏“杀”机,有不少坑点需要引起考生关注。

试卷题型特点
阅读理解
本次阅读理解整体难度适中,与全国I卷难度持平。阅读话题涵盖了“人与自我、人与社会、人与自然”三大主题,如A篇“不同运动种类对于人们健康的好处”,B篇“列文虎克发现微生物的历史”,C篇“对是否还要使用标点符号的探讨”,D篇“对保护蜜蜂误解现象的批评”。在题型设置上,本次考试着重考察了考生阅读能力的全面性,除了常规的细节题和推断题以外,还考察了排序题和说明手法题,较为意外。其中,推断题的考察方式较新颖,包括对人物的评价(如24题),反方观点论据的选择(如31题)等,需要考生在把握细节信息的基础上,准确地把握主旨大意。
七选五阅读体裁为说明文,难度较高。介绍了在家经营公司虽然有其好处,但也有需要克服的实际困难。文章结构明确,为说明文常见的“总—分—总”结构。对于段落内的设空,考生需要关注到分论段中主题句与支撑句的区分,以及句子间的逻辑关系,才能更好地得出答案。其中较难的题目如第37与40题,若考生找不到advantage-downfall的关系以及mindset-realize的关系,容易错选干扰项。

完形填空
本次完形填空难度中等偏上,作者介绍了意大利的一项传统艺术——trompe l’oeil(错视画)。本文体裁为文化类说明文。设空聚焦动名形副,选项考察词义辨析,看似一团乱麻,但只要紧紧抓住复现原则和逻辑一致原则,题串一遍,其义自见。
词汇考察方面,选词基本在高中必考3500词汇之内,主要考察考生对词意的理解和把握。如第46题,根据上下文“to make small, simple buildings look ______ and high-valued.”,可推知此处所填词意应为褒义色彩的,可排除B. complicated(复杂的),同时根据原文“make small, simple buildings look _____and high-valued”, simple buildings 变得high-valued,那么small变得grand也就顺理成章。故此题选C. grand (宏伟的、豪华的)。
逻辑衔接方面,主要考察点落在第44题,可看到此段中有一句“Then, in the 1700s…”,注意此处的逻辑敏感词“then”,前文的连词应与之相对应,故此题选D. Originally (最初地)。
理解文意方面,重点在于应用复现原则,第41、55题较难。在文章开头背景信息不足的情况下,第41题不易得出结论,故此题需要在读完全文后再考虑。第55题是此篇完填的最后一题,照应的是文章的第一段——“…But, look carefully and you’ll see many things that seem C. real... but they’re not.” 可得知错视画会让人信以为真,故不要相信自己的眼睛,可推知选A. believe。此处首尾呼应,一唱一和,为整篇文章画上完美句点。

语法填空
本次语法填空文章体裁为说明文,关于中国茶文化的起源和发展,难度适中。考点包括实词中的谓语动词(56,61)、非谓语动词(58,65)和词性转换(57,59,64),以及虚词常规考点(冠、代、连、介)。其中第59题考察到数词变序数词,在以往考试较为少见。
考生需重点关注谓语动词的三大特性,如56题和61题。56题考察主语为复数的一般现在时+被动的谓语动词用法;61题空前有时间状语by the Song Dynasty,提示谓语动词需用过去完成时态;另外62和63小题考察虚词,62题考察使役动词make+宾语+名词作宾补的用法,即“使…变成…”,而且空格后art form为可数名词单数,而art以元音音标开头,确定本空应填不定冠词an;63题考察固定搭配短语on display的用法。

书面表达
本次应用文写作的内容是为校英文报写一篇报道,回顾校首届生活技能云端展示活动。本题题材源于生活,但略显新颖,审题需要仔细考虑。在构思内容的时候,建议考生关注:①关于活动的时间地点,考生需根据“云端展示”设置合理的情景。②活动反响要紧扣活动主题及展示内容。③报道体裁的相关结构和常见句式,都应该仔细斟酌。
读后续写部分,原文思路清晰,讲述了小男孩Ben不小心打破花瓶,修补后谎称是猫咪的错,母亲循循善诱让男孩认识诚实的重要性。全文难点在于,考生在阅读过程中需要准确捕捉细节:母亲作为老师的身份、小男孩在妈妈引导下的多次心理变化、母亲的神态等,从而得出符合情节发展的续写设计。在语言运用上,在续写中需要尽量与原文风格保持一致。

给考生们的建议
① For高三考生:
(一)语法复习重视查漏补缺,注意回顾短语积累,除此之外,还需提高对句子成分的分析能力,从而提高长难句理解能力;
(二)词汇复习注意联想单词使用的情景,注意熟词生义和一词多义的用法,近义词汇的英文释义辨析;
(三)写作方面注意对新题型的题型特点、题目要求的把握,注重练习的有效性,总结情节构思的思路,积累细节描写类的语言。
② For高一、高二生:
(一)加强阅读推断能力。大多数考生在做阅读的时候往往会只关注简单的细节,而缺乏深度的推理和判断。这样的阅读习惯会造成阅读准确率较低,并且会影响读后续写中对情节的整合。
(二)平时在阅读中,需要关注并积累细节描写,注意读写迁移。读后续写题型对考生的话题表达积累与句型积累的要求高,各位考生需要在高一高二阶段做好积累习惯。

Last Sunday, Work Creates a Better Life, the first online life skills show, held in the school gym, was a huge success.
The online show was broadcast live via the school website. Contestants were required to display their life skills of cooking, first aid or repair with tools prepared by themselves. Directly following participants’ performances, we audience voted and the one making Zongzi was rated the best.
Through this activity, not only could we demonstrate their life skills but view their life from a new angle.
