上方的校徽体现了创办广以的概念：希伯来字母“Tet”和凤凰分别代表合作双方以色列理工学院和汕头大学，红色的金凤花代表学校所在地汕头，大背景则是代表中国的五角星和代表以色列的六角形大卫之星，并融合了广以的奠基年份“2015”。
下方的校园一角，反映了校园对以色列建筑特色以及岭南建筑风格的完美融合。其中，全面引入以色列理工学院设计元素的创新中心呈“特立独行”之势，使人对广以独具创新创业特色的专业教育体系充满向往。
用当下流行的工程教育（CDIO）语言，这份通知书体现了广以从“概念（C）到设计（D）再到实施（I）”的历程，至于运行（O）的效果，离不开每一届入学新生的努力，这是入学通知书的寓意所在，也是学校对学生的殷切期望。

Dear Class 2023, Welcome to GTIIT! We are glad to have you with us! The first batch of acceptance letters for cohort 2019 have been sent out today. You will have the opportunities to conduct experiments at world-class labs and pursue scientific dreams under the guidance of international faculty. Routes of brilliant career are waiting for you at the quiet and ideal-breeding campus. Follow me to know more about your acceptance letter~ The first you would notice is the badge on the top which represents the cultural origins of each of the partners, as well as their harmonious collaboration. The Hebrew letter "Tet" represents Technion, the red flower stands for Shantou, and the phoenix for Shantou University. The five-pointed star and the six-pointed star are the symbols of China and Israel respectively, while perfectly emerging the element of "2015" when GTIIT held the Cornerstone Laying Ceremony. At the bottom of the acceptance letter is the picture of GTIIT campus which is the integration of Israeli and Lingnan architectural styles. Visitors and Innovation Center, which fully introduces the design elements of Technion, is maverick. Therefore, it can easily explain why people are longing for GTIIT's professional educational system with unique innovative and entrepreneurial characteristics. CDIO, the latest educational framework for producing the next generation of engineers, perfectly illustrates the design philosophy of the acceptance letter. From the acceptance letter, we can learn about the history of GTIIT from Conceiving(C) to Designing(D) to Implementing(I). As for Operating(O), it calls for joint efforts of every GTIITer, which is the idea of the acceptance letter and our earnest expectations on students!
