21 July – The entry scores for the first batch of universities participating in the 2025 Zhejiang Gaokao have been officially released. The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) has recorded an entry score of 609, surpassing the tier one threshold—a benchmark indicative of high-ranking institutions—by 17 points. UNNC’s highest admission score reached 650.
As of 21 July 2025, the Gaokao admission process for UNNC within Zhejiang Province has been successfully concluded. All 17 academic programmes offered by the University are now fully enrolled. The lowest admission rank accepted this year stands at approximately 42,000, reflecting the University's continued competitiveness and appeal among prospective students.
Admissions for regions outside Zhejiang are currently underway. In provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions where admissions have concluded—such as Beijing and Shanghai—UNNC has experienced an increase in entry scores, suggesting that students qualified for China’s top national universities have chosen UNNC.
